JMHS Student Leaders Attend a Boston Education Convention

Luke Fraley

This July 14-20 James Monroe students, Madison Bragg, Ian Jackson, Abby Fraley, Miracle Hopkins, and Dr. Womack where given the chance to go on a trip to Boston and New York City. Not only were they able to tour many significant landmarks but, they went to the Building Learning Communities, where they were able to meet many different educators across the world from Sweden, Switzerland, South Africa, and the Netherlands. We even had our own teacher, Dr. Womack, who spoke at the convention. He taught on how to deal with educational chaos using persistence, presence, precision, and empathy. We would like to thank all the people who helped make this trip possible and hope to do it next year.
