Should companies allow suspensions of payments due to the current crisis?

Some mortgage and student loan companies are offering a 60 day interest-free no payment period to allow people to get back on their feet due to the loss of so many jobs recently. Should more companies put this into consideration? Many American people are concerned about money at the moment, because not many people are able to receive a paycheck with this current virus outbreak. This puts many people into a tight and difficult situation. The U.S. Senate recently passed a stimulus bill that allocates each company so much money to be able to do this for the American people.  The U.S. House of Representatives is expected to vote on it today and President Trump has agreed to sign it.   I hope this passes in the House, as many others do, too.
