West Virginia Election Delayed

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected many factors including primary elections. Since people have to socially distance themselves, politicians are unable to campaign. Also, it is difficult for people to vote at polls without a risk of contracting the coronavirus. Many states with primary elections during this time have moved their election dates. West Virginia is one of those states and the new primary election date will be June 9th. Early voting will begin May 27th and end June 6th. You need to be registered to vote by May 19th. You can register and find further information at the link below. Hopefully, the COVID-19 will be over by June and the primary election date will not change again. However, it is wise to stay informed on the West Virginia Secretary of State’s website.
