Senior of the Week: Kaleb Ganoe

Kaleb Ganoe has made his time at James Monroe a memorable one. Kaleb has been a member of Youth in Leadership Association all four years, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Technical Honor Society, and Vice President of National Honor Society. He has been a delegate and wrote a bill for the Youth in Government Program. Kaleb played three years of football and basketball during his high school career. Also, he participates in the annual Walk for Alzheimer’s, and has been involved with numerous community service projects through clubs and organizations. His Honors English teacher, Mr. Goff, was one of the most influential teachers he had. Kaleb described how his honors courses taught him a better work ethic and proved that it takes hard work to succeed academically. Kaleb received the Promise Scholarship and Golden Horseshoe Award. He plans to attend West Virginia University and major in General Business. His advice to underclassman is, “Don’t take this time for granted, it flies by.” Thank you Kaleb for all your work and accomplishments at James Monroe, and good luck at WVU!
